We finally picked up Bengal Queen "Aine" (aka Summer). She is more then we could have ever hoped for. She is as active as she is beautiful. Below is some pictures of her and our first ever Imperial Felines Youtube movie!! enjoy.

Bengal Queen "Aine" 9 weeks old

Can you say "Energy"? :)
I am excited to announce our newest Bengal King "Loki". He is an awesome marble Bengal and he is a true stud. He was a rescue from a family that could no longer take care of him. He is a little over a year old already and came with his female companion "Cleopatra".
Introducing our Bengal Queen "Celopatra". We rescued her along with "Loki" and she is a lover cat for sure! She is going to make a wonderful addition to the Imperial Breeding program.
Just look at her beautiful eye liner markings!
We are currently working under The International Cat Association (TICA) to develop the “Imperial” breed standard.  This amazing feline has lineage from the Jungle cat and the Asian leopard cat, although our program uses no actual wild cats. The breed standard mixes exotic features of spots, marbling and rosettes seen in Asian leopard cats with the curled eared traits seen in the American curl, Jungle Curl and Highland Lynx. We are currently in phase one of the experimental breeding program.

To enhance the gene pool, we have carefully chosen breeders from Bengal, Highland Lynx, Desert Lynx, and Jungle Cat Hybrid breeds. All of our foundation cats bear some characteristics desired in the Imperial breed. The foundation kings and queens have spots, rosettes or marbling and some of the foundations have polydactyl feet and/or natural bob tails. Our foundation breeders are hybrid cats not from recognized as standard The International Cat Association (TICA) breeds and under their rules have been registered as Domestic Short Hair or Domestic Long Hair cats for use with the Imperial breeding program. Some of our foundation breeders are also registered with the Rare and Exotic Feline Registry (REFR) as purebred Highland Lynx and Desert Lynx cats.

All of the cats used in our program are very smart, loving and have dog-like personalities. All of our cats are raised underfoot and have regular interaction with other cats, dogs and children.

Even though the TICA standard will evolve over time below is the complete TICA Standard we are working towards at the current time.
